According to recent reports such as the British Daily Mirror, a Brazilian woman wore an 'intrauterine device' (IUD), known to have a 99% success rate, in her uterus for two years,,, and discovered she was pregnant during a regular checkup. An intrauterine device is a contraceptive device attached to the uterine cavity , which causes a local foreign body reaction to interfere with fertilization, thereby producing contraceptive effects. It is usually known to be effective for 3~5 years. However, this woman overcame a 1% chance of pregnancy and recently gave birth healthily . She reportedly gave birth to a baby, but since removing the intrauterine device could be dangerous, she kept it in place throughout her pregnancy. Because of this, there were crises such as bleeding and placental abruption, but both mother and baby were safe, and the obstetrician, to commemorate this rare event, handed a contraceptive device to the newborn baby and took a commemorative photo. The doctor posted the photo on social media, writing, "Holding a victory trophy, an IUD I can't handle." Seeing this, social media users commented, "Blessings No one can stop it," "I can't believe it even after seeing it," "I'm curious about what kind of IUD was used," and other reactions, ,,,I didn't want to have children, so I had the device,,, but if I get pregnant, why do I use an IUD??? Is the doctor thinking about it or not???????
