Kyungpook National University disqualified 22 applicants who were disciplined for school violence in the 2025 admissions, but starting this year, Kyungpook National University has been reflecting school violence-related issues in all admissions processes and deducting points from the total score. School Violence Measures are classified according to the severity of the case as follows: Type 1 (written apology), Type 2 (prohibition of contact, threats, or retaliation), Type 3 (school volunteering), Type 4 (community service), Type 5 (completion of special education or psychological treatment), Type 6 (suspension of attendance), Type 7 (class transfer), Type 8 (transfer), and Type 9 (expulsion).  Kyungpook National University deducted 10 points for grades 1~3, 50 points for grades 4~7, and 150 points for grades 8~9. As a result, 11 students were deducted from points in the academic excellence and regional talent tracks, ,,, 3 students failed the essay (AAT) track, 1 student in the comprehensive agricultural entrepreneurship talent track, and 4 in the practical and performance (arts, physical education) and special talent (sports) tracks, and a total of 3 students failed the regular admissions due to a history of school violence. Previously, 10 education colleges nationwide also decided to reflect school violence measures starting from the 2026 admissions.  In particular, Seoul National University of Education, Busan National University of Education, and Gyeongin National University of Education plan to restrict or disqualify applicants with a history of school violence in all admissions, regardless of the severity of the disciplinary actions. Parents will cause another stir!! so they won't just sit by!!!!!!!
