According to the IT industry on the 30th, searching for 'Japanese territory' in Naver's search bar revealed that the AI answer 'AI briefing' has consistently referred to Dokdo as Japanese territory. Also, when searching for 'Japanese territory,' it includes 'Dokdo (Takeshima)' among Japan's main territorial components, and expresses it as 'currently in a territorial dispute with South Korea.' Professor Seo Kyung-deok of Sungshin Women's University explained, "If you search for 'Japanese territory,' it explains that 'Japan's territory consists of Dokdo (Takeshima), the Northern Territories, the Senkaku Islands, and so on.'" He continued, "Most AI developed overseas, such as ChatGPT and other AI developments, have labeled Dokdo as a conflict zone, so we have consistently protested until now," and criticized, "It is unacceptable that a leading domestic portal has not confirmed such results on nationally significant issues." He further emphasized, "Naver must promptly correct this so that overseas netizens do not have misunderstandings about Dokdo," and emphasized, "For domestic and international AI to provide accurate answers about Dokdo, it must continuously spread accurate multilingual data about Dokdo worldwide." Naver has also been aware of this and has removed the AI briefing feature for related search terms, but currently, searching for 'Japanese territory' or 'Japanese territory' on Naver does not show AI briefing results. Naver has been disappointing with things like 'Has the US XXX lost its mind??? ,,,,, have ,,,, to be a matter of the future!!!!!!
