Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae has effectively chosen an all-out war by refusing the Blue House's request for renomination, and since President Lee Jae-myung is away from overseas tours, the unprecedented situation of 'refusal to renominate' has occurred. Attention is focused on how the conflict over Supreme Court justice appointments will change after President Lee's return. About a month after the Blue House refused to appoint Chief Judge Son Bong-gi on the 28th of last month and demanded 'a new candidate be nominated again,' it has now entered a new phase by stating, "We cannot comply with the request for renomination." So, what is Chief Justice Cho aiming for? Inside and outside the court, there was a reaction called it "an unexpected, drastic move," but since his term  ends in June next year,   it seems he has started to hold out, dragging the matter into legal disputes until then. Do they want to show that he is not a judge who simply listens easily??? Kim Jin-han, a lawyer with a background in constitutional research, said, "   In a situation where there is no disagreement regarding the interpretation that the president has actual appointment authority, the Chief Justice has chosen a very narrow path constitutionally," adding, "It seems that the scope of the debate was far beyond what was anticipated, and in effect, he chose war with the Blue House."  Judge Han said, "If the Blue House and Chief Justice fail to make even a small concession, the situation of attacks will keep repeating, and the public will have to watch helplessly," ,,,Is what Cho Hee-dae is aiming for, after the last presidential election when he challenged President Lee with 'remand and remend',,, and this time he wants to 'not underestimate the Supreme Court' by defending the Supreme Court or trying to further lower the president's approval ratings,,, ,,, politics???
