With additional comprehensive hacking attacks confirmed from the primary financial sector to the secondary financial sector, financial authorities held an emergency meeting today. Financial Services Commission Chairman Lee Eok-won mentioned the "possibility of hacking using AI" and warned the financial sector, "If similar incidents happen again, we will hold those responsible strictly accountable." So far, a total of seven organizations have been identified as victims of hacking, and nearly 70,000 customers, employees, and corporations have had their information leaked. Shinhan Bank, KB Kookmin Bank, Hana Bank reported leakage of customer personal information, and BNK Busan Bank reported leakage of personal information of outsourced development staff. In addition, information was leaked from secondary financial institutions such as Hyundai Capital, Yegaram Savings Bank, and Welcome Savings Bank, and an additional four   external access was confirmed. In particular, the attacks on the banking sector were carried out through the same IP, all of which bore traces of the Chinese AI penetration platform ARTEX (Autonomous Penetration Test Console),   which could be directly used for fraudulent transactions. Although there is no evidence of information leaks, the possibility of secondary damage like voice phishing cannot be ruled out. President Lee Jae-myung has ordered "strict awareness and thorough investigation and countermeasures," while Chairman Lee urged the financial sector to maintain the highest level of vigilance and warned that if security management is neglected and accidents recur, those responsible will be strictly held accountable. ,,,Don't hold anyone accountable for what happens in the future,,, but hold them strictly accountable for what is happening now!! These guys earn hundreds of millions of won annually and come in 30 minutes late,,, so we shouldn't just brush it off!!!!!!!
